Basic Obedience Program

The Paws Up for Training LLC Basic Obedience program
consists of seven sessions, one hour per week in your home. I use positive reinforcement techniques that are tailored to each
individual dog and owner’s situation. No compulsion, no choke chains, no fear or pain for the dog is ever used. I will explain,
demonstrate, and walk you through the techniques with your dog for the following basic obedience commands:

- Focus - your dog will learn to look to you for direction
- ‘Good’ and “No” – your
dog will understand right from wrong
- Sit
- Down
- Stay
- Come
- Loose Leash Walking
- Heel

Problem Solving
|
As part of the seven-week program, I will explain, demonstrate
and walk you through techniques designed to solve common canine behavior problems. These problem-solving exercises are tailored
to fit your individual situation and can include:

- Inappropriate Jumping
- Pulling on Leash
- Bolting out of doors
- Inappropriate
Chewing
- Inappropriate Digging
- Ignoring your commands
- Soiling in the home (housebreaking)
- Puppy
nipping and “mouthiness”
- Attention seeking behaviors (barking, whining, pushiness, etc)
- Much More!

Obedience Refinement/Problem Solving Sessions
|
Hourly Obedience refinement and problem solving sessions
are available on a case-by-case basis to the owners whose dog has completed basic obedience training, but could use improvement
in the execution of commands, or in correcting problematic canine behavioral issues.
